Hi divya here..
Well my mom visa rejected 3 time..with stupid reasons
I was inviting my mom for my wedding and they refused by saying
Purpose of visit..obviously it's my wedding..what else they expect
2) financial assets.. She is business women she owns property wor h 90 lakh INR ..
Account balance 15 lakh all attested by CA .
3) travel history..I told them she has no wish or intention to go abroad..she is too occupied in business ..she can only get few days out for my wedding..
First three reasons were there in earlier two applications too.

New reason in third application refusal letter was
4) host income or your income proof..
I submitted my employment. I earn 65 k Cad letter bank letter
My mom submitted
Bank statement , property ownership documents , CA letter

Her medical insurance was also submitted..not getting the exact reason why they are refusing again nd again..I submitted all possible documents..all agent are saying..there is some mistake by embassy.

Suggest me should I write justification letter.I am really pissed off..it was my wedding ..duration of stay was three weeks.

You said that your mother is very involved in her business and can only take a few days off to come to your wedding be ause she needs to get back to her business. However, at the end, you said that you requested a stay of 3 weeks.

Those two things dont really match up and could be an issue. If you really only wanted her to come for the wedding, then you should request a much shorter stay than the 3 weeks.

Otherwise it makes it look like she isnt really needed and doesnt have such strong ties to her country, if she can take 3 weeks off for a wedding.

Yes I requested for 3 weeks because our customs starts one weeks prior to wedding and she is my only parent ..my father passed away when we were(my elder brother) too young..so her presence is must till three weeks..because of few functions which were aligned one after another..

Yes that could've possibly had an impact on your "purpose of visit". You asked for 3 weeks, yet in the letter, you mentioned she can only be away for 3 days, both things are contradictory. You sent in a wedding invitation as proof, but is that all you sent? Did you give details as to what she will be doing when she's in Canada? Where she will go, where she will stay, what tourists sites she will see, who she will see, etc?

As for host income, would've been better to submit an NOA or your tax return. There would've had to be something wrong with your employment letter if even a guy who makes $65K/yr is considered insufficient.

Her financials, has she shown official government/bank documents detailing her ownership in property? Her bank account, was there any recent large deposits into her account?
Travel history, they don't really care if she has no wish or intention to go abroad more so than her actual travel history, as anybody can just simply state they have no intention to overstay, but its the actual proof of them getting visas from other countries and abiding by the rules that they care most. What travel history does she have?

The refusal reasons might sound unjustified at first, but if you break it down piece by piece, it may not sound as such after all. And also, she's been refused twice before your current refusal, this will make it more difficult to be approved. The previous refusals, have you guys submitted SIGNIFICANT new documents each time? Or just the same things over and over?

Also you can order GCMS notes to see the exact reasons for refusal.

Instead of going through an agent, do it yourself and submit a paper application vs online since the turn around time is quicker. I applied online 2 months ago, still no answer.

Also, try to rectify and provide proofs etc of all the reasons they rejected the application and build a strong case. Don't fall into the trap of requesting less days in intention of getting approved. The way agents look at it is, it costs $1,000+ to travel several time zones over (in some cases, couple of days of commute), so no one will come for 3 days. It goes against all the requirements and common sense.

Please try to think reasonably and be totally honest. They won't have a reason to decline.

Thanks.

No I never said she can be out for 3 days only..she can get 3 weeks of time and meanwhile she will hand over all responsibilities to my brother.
Yes I send wedding invitation and all booking proofs. Also I specified that she will stay with me..and I will provide housing and all to her.I also specified that we have plan to visit nearby sites too as we don't expect her other visit.

Yes she submitted CA letter and government documents translated in English..there was no large deposit on her account..

She has no travel history..but few of my frnd parents also have no travel history but they got visa for 10 years

First time I submitted same documents but then it was different..I submitted many new documents..

Plz suggest what should I do now

Part of the issue is that your first two applications don't sound like they were put together very well. Keep in mind that these previous application are on file and the agent no doubt looks at them as part of the review of any new application. Based on your posting history, your mother was listed as a housewife in the first two applications and a longer stay was requested (30-45 days). I'm sure you can understand why the CIC officer might be reluctant to approve her application now when she is suddenly listed as a business owner (not housewife) and a shorter trip is requested because she can't be away from her business for very long. Logically, it will seem strange that someone was previously OK with a longer trip and is now saying they can't be away from their business for very long. I realize your consultant put this application together and did a poor job. But that doesn't matter to CIC - your mother signed the application and is responsible for all of the information listed in it.

With three applications refused, you have your work cut out for you to get an approval. It's a shame the first two applications weren't well prepared by your consultant. You can't blame CIC for this. They are simply assessing and reacting to the information that has been provided to them. If you honestly put yourself in their shoes, you should be able to understand why all of this has led to a refusal.

You are right. My mom owns one hotel and commercial land whose rent is coming every month..my consultant said she is housewife..
Then after one refusal..he said oh she files tax and all she is businesswomen..I specified it in my application that it was clerikal mistake..
Anyhow but she is a genuine visitor and has no intentions to stay in Canada at all..don't know how to convince them

There is any way to call her here for visit..plz suggest.

Oh man, now it's going to be extremely difficult to get approved the 4th time around, as if you clarify your mistake this time, they might not think she's being truthful, as she keeps changing her occupation, days of stay, etc. Even if its the consultant doing the application, ultimately they will still deem her as the one responsible, as she signed the application.

I didn't realize all this other stuff was going on, it would'be been nice if you had mentioned this earlier. Now you can see, it might seem like its unjustified refusal, but after you break it down piece by piece, there was more to this story than is being let on. I always thought it was a typical refusal, but I didn't realize your mom had her occupation and days of stay change significantly between applications, and it was done in error by someone else.

Hi Divya,

First, get rid of the immigration consultant.

Your consultant has made mistake after mistake in filing your mom's TRV applications.... contradictions in information, length of visit, strong ties, purpose of visit (from the first application itself), etc.

The mistakes are pretty evident.... nevertheless, do order GCMS notes. With three refusals, it looks like your mom may not be able to attend your wedding.

Do not reapply without addressing the previous refusal reasons + with better paperwork. If you reapply, it must be after several months.... when her situation changes significantly. It is going to be very difficult to get a TRV approval

Don't lose hope though :)

EDIT:
You're also facing the risk of misrepresentation due to all the contradictions in documentation/evidence.... do NOT reapply until several months after you get the GCMS Notes.

The last thing you would want is your mom getting a 5-years ban

Instead of rushing, try to think with a clear head and provide solid proofs.

Also, majority of refusal cases I've seen on this forum, included not having enough/no travel history. The other thing I noticed with one of the members was misrepresentation. One member was banned for 2 years because of misrepresentation and wasn't able to apply for PR either.

If you still want to reapply, make sure to tackle all of the reasons for rejection from previously and ask us for any questions.

Good luck! :)
