URGENT: Mistakenly filled wrong information imm 5257 and want to withdraw online application

hi friends,

Need your suggestion urgent.....

I made a mistake in filling out visitor visa application, in the section where it says "have you been refused any kind of visa , denied entry or orders to leave in Canada or any other country " he checked no, only to realize I was refused a visitor visa before 4 months. It was an oversight which should be corrected.

I have applied online application from India before 2 days.I am afraid that so many people got 5 years ban about this misrepresentation.

Now, I need a suggestion Whether I have to withdraw or send CSE.

You can Send a CSE and explain them that you over sight this question.. anf reason of refusal and as you submitted 2 days back so its its good to send now .. i did same mistake and send cse after 12 days and was lucky enough to get TRV

You must immediately send a CSE + an email to the relevant visa office. Do not withdraw your application as it could only complicate matters.

Do include the amended TRV application form + mention that you misunderstood Question 2b and you selected the incorrect option unintentionally + you are disclosing the previous visa refusal of your own accord without IRCC requesting this information

Could you please mention the CSE forms and consequences after submitting them.

Amended form = Complete another TRV form which correctly states that you were refused a visa previously.

Like I have already suggested.... use the CSE + email the visa office for your country. You must send the new form and the explanation

Actually, I am applying from India . We have three VOs, but our area is coming under bengaluru Vo.

Do I need to send all the documents to bengaluru VO?

Yes, you must email + send the CSE to the Bangalore visa office. Do NOT submit your new TRV and the explanation to VFS Bangalore

You've done the right thing by sending the CSE and email. There's nothing else to do. You'll be fine. Don't worry

Thank you very much. Appreciate your response. At this point, I do not even care about the approval of visit visa. I would be happy just to avoid the potential ban.
