I sent my application to Sydney, NS and after being approved because of my NOC 1111, the forwarded my file to Buffalo. However, I made a mistake. I withdrew my application before Buffalo processed it. I should have to put down NOC 0111 and I got mixed up. So, I withdrew and now I am re-applying to Sydney with NOC 0111. Do you think that Sydney keeps track of that info regarding NOC 1111 I put in in my first application and they might think I am playing?

Thank you.

even if they keep track, its not unthinkable people get confused between 0111 and 1111. Personally i dont think it is a big mistake. But of course, i am saying this without any experience as a consultant or any experience with CIC.

I have withdrawn already. The problem is that for the fact I put NOC 1111, my attorney used the duties for NOC 1111 because I e-mailed him saying that the duties of my NOC were pretty much the same that the ones on the occupation list. Now I will change to NOC 0111 as well as the duties.

Thanks.

I do not think Sydney will remember whatever you put in your old application. Unless when they create a file for you, they input these info into computer.
Let's see if anyone else has a different opinion.

Peace.

I do not think they will notice that. Sydney does not keep track of what you wrote in your application.

Cheers.

I do not know. It might look strange to them if in your first application you put down one NOC and its duties and then in the second application you put down a different NOC with different duties.

Cheers.

I would say just when you re apply to write an explanation letter for your current situation exactly because they approved your application, it means that they have created a file with a number for you and entered all of your information on their database. Furthermore, there is a question on (schedual 1 background declaration) of the application forms asks whether you have ever applied to any kind of visa for canada and you must answer yes, as a results, you will have to write explanation for your answer at the space provided for that regard.

Just mention that it was mistake because they are very close to each other and you don't have enough knowledge about NOCs system, and describe the situation exactly as you stated above, I am sure that they will consider the good intention in your case.

Have a look at this :

"Visa officers may also check previous applications to corroborate any information provided in the FSW application. Applications more than 12 months old, however, will not include the most recent information about work experience."

Good luck.

how long does it take to get your refund after withdrawing your application????
