Hello,
I have been accepted to a 2-year post graduation program Web design and development in Conestago College. However, after receiving the letter of acceptance the actual duration of studies is (16 months, 4 semesters). While it has been true that many of the people received 3-year PGWP after the completion of a 16 month (4 semesters) program previously since it would be stated as a 2-year program in the completion certificate issued by the college. However, the new rule which was issued in feb14th 2019 states that, if a candidate completes the 2-year program in 1.5 years (i.e 16 months), then he/she may be issued only 16-month PGWP. Can anyone please shed light on this? If this is true many of the people who will be pursuing a 2-year post grad diploma will only get 16-month PGWP as most of them are 16 months long.
