Assuming that you are from sub-continent. So you can write that this was a typical Asian wedding with stating all the events truly happened.
But what you can do to prove your wedding as a real wedding is the event pictures, arrangements, weddings plans/invitation cards, honeymoon trip, hotel bills, tickets, post weddings couple and with family pictures, marriage certificate, list of people and their contact number etc, joint accounts/assets/land etc.... each and everything that you think can be added as proof of your relationship.

You just went home to pick up a random wife?

Good luck with that!

good luck with your application.... you will need a lot of patience waiting and i'm sure it will be very hard for the application to get approved.
my suggestion, dont apply for now, wait like 6 months so you can gather evidence that support that your marriage is genuine and continuing.

CIC accepts that arranged marriages are normal in many parts of the world. HOWEVER this must fit into the standard customs and practices, of the country the sponsor/applicant is from. The wedding itself must also conform to the normal wedding of arranged marriages from that country.

So if you provide info like where you are from, you could probably get some better advice.

If arranged marriages are not common in your country, then a 2 day meeting followed by marriage and applying for PR, would almost certainly end with a rejected PR application.

If you're from a country that traditionally has very elaborate wedding ceremonies and yours was quick and simple, I foresee this being a big problem for your application. I agree with doljan, you should think about waiting a while before applying to gather evidence of your relationship. You will also need to have a very good explanation of why your marriage was simple. Sorry for the realism, but I've read a bunch of appeals and things like this always seem to be a problem!

Good luck!!

Wife is from Pakistan, and they have permanent resident status in Saudi Arabia.

Both counties have elaborate wedding ceremonies/traditions. I foresee issues on the application.

To the OP, I would hold off on applying just now. You may want to arrange a trip "home" and have a proper wedding, or have a honeymoon(if you didn't). I know arranged marriages are common in both KSA and Pakistan. The time frame is questionable even in that respect.

If you are living with your wife now, that is a plus for your application. Take some time and gather proof as someone else said.

Take Care
