What other documents would you be sending? Has CIC asked for these other documents? For instance, you shouldn't need to send a 2014 tax return if you sent a 2013 Option C. Generally speaking, it's probably better to wait for CC to ask rather than you just sending in things that they may not need and in fact might lose if they haven't requested them. And if they do ask, they will let you know where to send them.

No it is a police certificate that was still processing at the time since it takes forever for police checks to be delievered
so my husband and i alredy sent our application December 2014

Since I received my AOR I thoguht it would be the perfect time to send the police certificate ( and a proof of my income which I couldn't send earlier )

Many people are saying police certificates expire in 3 months so that'd why I am in a hurry
application was received on Dec 4
and police certificate was delievered to my house on Dec 18

so what should I do now should I mail my income proof and police certificate incase it expires
and if I mail it where do I mail it ?

Is the original mailing address proper ?

If you haven't gotten spousal approval yet, the Misssassagua is probably still correct, but I would call the call center at 1-888-242‑2100 to be sure. Someone else may come along with a better answer too...

By mentioning, Application # and your name on top left corner of envelope, u may send add any doc to the same address of Mississauga processing. However, u better make sure first whether u need to add any doc or not.

I called them today and the person told me that my application would be considered incomplete and will be sent back to me since I didn't include the police certificate and that I should wait for cic to further ask for anything :(

Ya I guess.
I heard many people just waited for cic to request the police certificate and didn't return the whole application, while some people got their whole application returned.
So just hope they request it and don't return it.

the person from cic is wrong and the call center is KNOWN for giving out wrong information! don't listen to them. right now, generally, police records are not a reason applications get returned. this is because the record is not needed for sponsor approval, and it is not needed until the visa office starts processing the APPLICANT'S application. it's widely experienced by applicants that CIC is looking the other way when medical receipts and police records are not submitted up front. applications generally get returned because of missing signatures or outdated forms. relax. the when you get sponsor approval, you will be given instructions about how to send the record to the APPROPRIATE visa office. if you are in a time crunch, then my suggestion is when you are given instructions in the SA letter, send in the record you have and start the process of getting another one as a back up "just in case".
