URGENT- MADE A MAJOR MISTAKE IN THE VISA APPLICATION

Hi,
My student visa was rejected on 27th of july. I reapplied on the 4th of aug again wit a strong explanation letter. unfortunately I was copying the details in the visa application exactly the way it was in my first application letter that unknowingly I ticked no for the question that asks if I have ever applied for any type of Canadian visa before. Is this a very serious offence? If they read my explanation letter they will be able to understand that it was a mistake but will they reject the application because of this?

Do not worry, its not a long time back that u were denied a visa. Hope for the best.

I know that. but just have a small doubt if they may feel i'm trying to cheat them and reject it without even reading the explanation letter.

why ur visa got rejected and what u wrote them could u please share as my wife,s visa got rejected for two stupid reasons. and i want to know either if i could go for a review or reapply the visa.

My visa got rejected cause I had only shown 100% loan and did not show any assets which made them feel I could not afford my studies, and the second reason was the felt my course was not relevant when compared to my previous work experience or studies when it actually was relevant. I just wrote a letter giving them reason and proof that they understood it wrong. I showed them all my assets and financial papers and explained why my course is relevant.
