I have a friend who wants to study in Centennial college in Canada who applied for a major that she did not previously study. Would this jeopardize her chances of getting study permit? She is an english education major who applied for accounting and got accepted. She is able to show adequate funds. What are her chances of obtaining the permit?

From which country she is applying ?
Yes Course mismatch is a big issue, unless experience is in the field of propose study. yet it can be a problem.
But u can compare responses from different persons here. Hopefully you will get best answer

I think this is an isolated case, because of the field she has studied.
There isn't any phd for English education , Doesn't it?
