Hi,

When we get our Birth certficate, our name column is always blank , did someone submit the DOB certificate as it is and got AOR ? please help

Submit your class 10 marksheets in lieu of birth certificate. Mark sheets should have your name and your parent' name.
 
I did not have Birth Certificate till 6 months ago. So I have applied for a Birth Certificate and they have issued ,where in , my name was also mentioned in that.
 
10th mark sheet doesn't work. We should have an Affidavit declaring the information and attach copy of Passport. It needs to be notarized. It better to apply for a new birth certificate. And the name in the Birth certificate should be same as the one on the passport.
 
In lieu of BC, need both notarized letter and secondary school certificate.

Problem is that I have already applied PR with no name on birth certificate and waiting for AOR , even I cant send the extra documents because my application has no tracking information.

10th Mark sheet doesn't work ? Who gave you that update , We submitted it and it worked .
 
no I haven't attached 10th certificate and affidavit. I have attached only Birth certificate and my name is not on it but my parents and my DOB are there

10th mark sheet alone doesnt work it should be sent along with an affidavit. For few people it worked in the past by providing just 10th mark sheet but most of the people it didnt.
Its easy process to get an affidavit and better to submit along with this when u receive your AOR

PR4CAN - I don't want to scare you , but think logically if your name is not on DOB certificate , how CIC would know its your name and your DOB , but YES if you have attached a notarized document to justify that you have your name and this is your date of birth , I believe CIC would accept it .

Rest you can only wait , I don't think anybody here would know you will get AOR or not unless somebody himself was in that situation and can update you the experience .

You can give a try by sending 10th Marksheet which has your DOB (if you are from India as in India it is Treated as DOB substitute) + a notarized document referring to your application received by providing tracking details when received in Sydney Nova scotia.

Apologize if I made you more impatient but I believe that is the truth.

There is a one person on sept 2014 applicant who got AOR. He was also in same situation.

yea I hope so but I dont want to take risk. I am calling CIC and asking for what information they need from me to track my application
