Hello everyone,

I just got a full-time job offer.. Now my employer has asked me to provide a work permit but I have not received it yet. I applied on September 18, 2015 for PGWP.

Please help, what kind of proof of eligibility I can show to them. I have off-campus work permit and SIN till march 2017.

Please please help...

Thank you....

Show them the SIN.

Thank you for your reply. SIN card does not show that I am eligible to work full-time.

I have heard that some people got a letter form cic that shows they can work full-time after applying for PGWP.

Could you please tell me about that if you have any idea ??

Thank you.

Cant you explain to them that you currently have a part time work permit but have applied for a work permit that will allow you to work full time, so could you start off part time till you get your PGWP?

But I know I am eligible to work full-time. And I don't want to loose this opportunity. I just need some proof.

I think first and foremost you should explain this to your employer and on monday you should contact immigration concerning your application. If the employer chose you for the job , then im sure it means they value you as an employee and what you could possibly bring, so they would most likely understand.

You are unnecessarily making a simple thing too complicated. OP has already been answered by Scylla.
