URGENT!

I completed my medical exam a few days ago and I found out I have hiv, i just started ARVs and the canada medical exam said i had a high viral load and my cd4 was about 200 (yes it was that low), what are the chances or me still getting my student visa in time to go to UBC by late august

Hi

You need to start the treatment and when your viral load stabilizes with the CD4, your specialist gives you a letter and you send it to the painel doctor. You also need to see how your treatment will continue in Canada. Don't forget to put all this in your cover letter.

Hi sorry about your health issues.HIV in itself will not stop you from entering Canada .You should prove that you’re taking care of the condition , a report from medical health care practitioner. You will also need to buy private insurance to prove that your health will not be an excessive demand on health and social services. The current limit is set to $25,689 per year. You could get procedural fairness letter.

Hello, please I just submitted my specialist report to my panel physician and my results as Ben sent to IRCC. My cd4 count is 525 and viral load is 125 copies suppressed. Will I also get a chance to pass the medicals?

your numbers seem to be much better than mine. and i was able to pass the medical. unless you have other issues that would make you inadmissible i don’t think you should worry about failing the medical.

Okay thank you, I’m going to Toronto does that make any difference in the medical assessment ? I am worried that I might be ask to provide proof of funds for medication.
