Hello,
My boyfriend came to canada on a student permit and his visa is expiring by the end of march.
We've been living together for 2 months.
Is there any way besides marriage that I can do to keep him here?
I know we cannot apply under common law because it has not been a year living together.
Is there any other way out to this?

Thank you in advance

Well first thing is to apply to stay as a visitor beyond March to stay legal.

He is a student? Did he graduate? He can get extension to continue studies, or get a PGWP.

No other way will work other than marriage and applying inland. He should go home and apply for a new visitor visa.

Actually he had poor academics. So, he can't register in his college for the next 5 months. And he found out that the college can't help him extend his permit since he's out of the college.

What country is he from?

Why not just apply to change his status to "visitor"? How long has he been out of school?
