Hello All,
I came to Canada in 2010 as a student from India. I came here through an immigration agent and my agent put 1 year work experience in my file to get me a visa. But he didn't give me any paper related to that experience. I got my visa and I came here. In Canada, I apply for my study permit and work permit renewal for 2 to 3 times and I didn't show my India 's work experience. I even apply for my open work permit without that work experience and I got 3 years wok permit too. So basically right now I am a open work permit holder in Canada.
Recently, I came to know that not showing Indian's work experience in my application is count as misrepresentation of documents. For this reason, I might not get my Canadian PR. I am very tense right now. Can anyone suggest me any solution?HuhHuh??

I'm not an expert, so please take what I say with that in mind.

I think you are completely safe.

Based on my reading of section 9 of manual ENF 2, there can only be two consequences for misrepresentation. These are:

- a denial of the visa you are applying for, in connection with which the misrepresentation was made;
- removal from Canada if your current stay in Canada is based on misrepresentation.

After that, there is a two-year period of inadmissibility.

In your situation, there can be no further action based on a misrepresentation made for a previous visa.

For further information, please see ENF 2:

9.7. At visa offices and ports of entry

An application for a visa abroad, or for entry into Canada at a port of entry may be denied
based on a misrepresentation made in connection with the current application or
examination only, unless the person was previously the subject of a refusal for
misrepresentation and the resulting two-year inadmissibility period has not elapsed.
