Hello,

There is a major problem with the ITA. My agent has confused my information with some other client and filled in information of the wrong client in the job bank.
Here is the situation.

Partially my work experience has been filled in wrong. :/ Although, the work experience is same. The company name and details of job are totally wrong. Now I have received the invite. Can I now change the information in the job bank or should I reject the invitation?

Please please advise.

Please reply. I really need information on this.

The job bank is designed to help you find work so you can get an lmia. I don't believe the officer takes into account what you put in the job bank at all.

As long as your EE profile is accurate I wouldn't worry.

best to reject the invite.. if your score is over 470, you will probably receive ITA next wednesday....

You can update the Job Bank information, it has nothing to do with ITA.

It is my friends mom who is a consultant. SO not a big name. I feel so disheartened. Even if it falls in the same NOC a chance shouldn't be taken to re-edit it? I just don't want to lose my chance after getting so close to my dream. Is it absolutely the only option for me? To reject the ITA? I haven't submitted documents yet. Is there a chance I can make changes or will that be questioned?

Okay. Then I will just update the Job Bank.

I think the only requirement is that you have a job bank connected to your ee profile. There hasn't been any documents linking to job bank accuracy that I've seen :S

Could you please explain. I haven't quite understood what you wrote. :s

You have to have a job bank account to have an eligible ee profile. When you create an ee profile you have to create a job bank profile. The job bank profile is there so that you can apply for jobs to try and help Canadian employers find you.

I haven't seen anywhere that says what you put on job bank will affect your ee profile, providing what you put on your job bank doesn't cause you to get an lmia fraudulently... But even then that is hard to trace...

Okay. So from what I am understanding is.. that any change in job bank wouldn't impact my ee profile provided the information isn't related to LMIA. I have received an ITA through EE not through LMIA.

Hence, it would be safe to just make changes in the job bank without declining the ITA.

Hope this won't impact my profile and Canada won't reject the changes.

Thank you so much.

There is no need to decline ITA for this.
