I was working in ABC company India and in 2022 I came on sebbatical leaves to study in canada.
Completed my studies in 8 months and started working with different employers on PGWP till finding a project in ABC company in Canada. As soon as I found a project I joined from sabbatical leaves and reported Canada office. They gave me deputation letter and i am a open work permit holder
Now i have completed 1 year and wanted to check if I can claim 50 points been on open work permit but have job offer till 2026

Short answer is no. You cannot claim the job offer points.

You need an approved LMIA from your employer to claim the 50 points on a PGWP.

A deputation letter is not classified as a job offer by IRCC for the purposes of Express Entry. Again, since you are on an open work permit, your employer must get an approved LMIA if you want to qualify for the 50 points.

Can you please advice how can my employer can help me to claim 50 points, there is something like PR support LmIA. In this what would I require so that I can go through it

Your employer goes through the LMIA process like any employer hiring a temporary foreign worker. So ask your employer to review all information on the IRCC about LMIAs. Your employer has post the job, and prove no one can do the job. Salary must be the median salary for the region. Then once no worker can be hired, your employer fills out the paperwork for a LMIA.
