urgent HELP!! US citizen entering Canada

HI,

my husband and I are both Canada PR, landed 2 years ago and then came back to the States.
next month we are planning to move to Canada for good, but my son does not have Canadian PR, and he is US citizen (born in US after we landed).

I'm wondering:
Does my son needs a visa in order to enter Canada?
How long can he stay in Canada?

Your son is a US citizen and it therefore visa exempt to enter Canada as a visitor. He can stay as a visitor for up to 6 months unless you apply to extend. You must sponsor him for PR once you are in Canada.

dear leon , i wonder can a canadian citizen extend after the 6 months of living in the state? and is this a easy thing ? and do they give you another 6 months!!!
