URGENT....HELP University of Alberta !!!!

Hi everyone!!!!

I read that one has to be un touch with a professor if one wants to be admitted to a MSc Program, I have been searching about this and in UoA 's web page doesn't say anything about this. What do you think?

PD. The Program that I'm appling to is MSc in Petroleum Engineering

Its always good to contact supervisor prior to application. Its not mandatory but makes it easy for the admission process. In your application you need to choose your supervisor anyway so why don't contact him/her before the application.

yeah i also got admitted to UAlberta, u have to have professor accepted you before u apply.

its always better for more chances of getting admitted.

I wasn't aware about that, the thing is that I have already send my preliminar form. Is that too bad ?
Could you please share your background ??? This is mine:

BE Petroleum Engineering GPA 80%
Toefl ibt 95
Thesis project finished with Honor mention
23 years old, less than a year of work experience

Do I have chances to get into UoA ?

Its not too late. Find a supervisor of your field of interest and contact him/her. Let the supervisor know that you already applied for the admission and ask if he/she willing to accept you.
