I grew up in the friendly environment, surrounded by friends and family in a small city in North India. The environment, coupled with a family where passion and excellence was valued above everything else and many opportunities are being provided to a teenager to pursue his interests, be it sports, fine arts or academics.

Being from a business family background, my interest was in the commerce, business and economics before anything else. I enrolled for a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce where I got an academic foundation for the above mentioned fields. The course work included subjects like Economics, Commerce and trade, Business, Taxation laws, Company Act, Contract Act, Accountancy etc. I also worked on a number of related projects and presentations in the college. Along with this, I was active in the extracurricular activities. Our college was hosting many events like, anti-drug addiction rally and environmental sensitization campaign in the city. The experience helped me learn the art of getting work done by guiding the energies of the entire group towards the group goal.

Today, the businesses are increasingly expanding their operations beyond the national borders. With the economic liberalization of India, the domestic corporate giants are competing with Multinational corporations. But to be successful in the fast growing globalized market, it is important for business professionals to have a global perspective and sufficient exposure to business practices in other nations. The competitive business scenario of today’s world needs extensive preparation, technical knowledge and skills along with the right blend of explorative attitude. To prepare myself with a strong focus on international business, I have decided to pursue International Business Management in Mohawk College that will equip me with the necessary skills for success in current business environment. This program covers the main areas of business and management (with subjects including Finance, Marketing, Human Resource Management, Management and Organization) etc.

International Business in India looks really lucrative. The growth in the international business sector in India is more than 7% annually. In the recent years, Indian corporate and business houses have played a critical role in the success story of Indian economy. The adoption of economic liberalization unleashed the latent entrepreneurial talent of Indian entrepreneurs and Indian companies have adapted wonderfully to the increasingly globalized economies. All the industries are looking for the right person, who has international qualification in their hand and can lead their company to the pinnacle of success. Today, quite a few Indian Companies rank among the list of Fortune 500 and the credit goes to young enterprising entrepreneurs adopting an international perspective and sufficient exposure to the groundbreaking business models adopted overseas. After completing this diploma I can join in leading industries of India like Reliance, Tata, Bajaj, Hero Honda, Birla Group, Wipro, Dell, IBM and many more.

Canada offers one of the best educational experiences in the world combining academic excellence with great exposure. The degrees and diplomas are well renowned and respected throughout the world. I strongly believe that education from a College in Canada is going to be a ladder on which I can climb to make my dreams come true. I believe, the kind of exposure that I may get in Mohawk College through my chosen program will be unmatched anywhere and it is this exposure that will allow my career to grow and make my dreams come into reality
So I request you to review my study permit application and grant me the opportunity to pursue my further studies in Canada

I didn't read your SOP but just to inform you, never share your SOP in public. Never ever do that caz if someone copy it, it may caz a refusal from the institute in case of plagiarism

I don't know anything about business -- but I suspect that if you want to work in India, a course in India is far more relevant than a course in Mohawk College. Also, you should talk about yourself, your studies, why Mohawk College is the best place in the world for them (even though it's not), and your specific plans for the future; the VO doesn't want a short primer on the Indian economy.
