Urgent HELP Required

Hello,

My first Express Entry profile got expired on October 2016 while the new one I created couple of days ago.

A thing just comes in mine mind and believe I would like to ask the seniors that if on creating the new express entry profile, do the system ask for the old Express Entry profile number for reference? If yes, then do I have to fill that up for sure? And is it fine on sharing the old Express Entry profile number?

Also for a note, I had submitted both the profiles with same email id.

The new profile is active but I just wish to clarify the above doubt.

You can submit your new EE profile from the same CIC account (with same email address). In the EE profile or in the PR application the old EE profile reference is not asked.
Also, you can specify "No" to "have you applied to IRCC before" question - as submitting an EE profile constitutes as "expression of interest" and not an "application".

I put up YES

Has (Candidate) applied for Express Entry before?
I put up YES

Please provide the Express Entry File Number
I had put up the number since my first profile got expired.


I put up the above as my first profile got expired last year AND the YES in both of them stands for the Express Entry profile only.

What do you think is it correct?

Applied to EE - YES

It is really your call. But you would not want to risk misrepresentation in your new profile/application.

One more question here - can this be corrected while putting up the things in Letter Of Explanation as say if Cut-off comes in another one or two hour, then it will not be transmitted today and it will create more dazzle situation.

I can explain the whole of thing in LOE ~ saying that I put up YES here as I feel it have been asked on the context of whether I had applied/created Express Entry profile earlier.

Followed by I put up YES for second question and giving the old EE number for reference.

Will this work?
