Urgent help required..Visitors record to expire on July 23

Hello All

My mother in law visitor record is expiring on July 23 which is tomorrow and I have applied for another visitor record on July 17.So can she stay with us till she received decision on new application applied on July 17 . If yes then what will be her status in Canada after expiry of existing visitor record which is July 23

Relax!

Since a visitor extension application was submitted (and received?) by IRCC before her status would have expired, she will be covered under `Maintained Status' while awaiting a decision.
