I was going to submit my Spousal Sponsorship on Online Portal. How do we need to upload the Passport SIze photo? Do we need to scan the actual physical photo and then upload or upload a digital copy provided by the photographer according to the specifications?
Thank you

If you have a non photoshopped digital photo from the studio, I would do that. Just make sure it’s within the file size limits.

You will need to scan the back of the photo in any case, since u need to mention applicant name, d.o.B., date taken and studio address

Thank you for your answer. I have a digital photo that was sent by my photographer via email but there are conflicting reports online that some people uploaded the scanned copy of a physical photo

The instructions linked on the online application site pertain to submitting a physical paper photo. Among many, I see this as a flaw in the provided instructions.

First, this is what I did in Photoshop on the digital photo file I received from the photographer:
  1. I created a black image file at 50x70mm at 72 DPI
  2. I placed the photo inside that file as a new layer
  3. I resized the photo layer to ensure the face height was 32mm. IRRC requires the face height to be between 31 mm to 36mm
Second, I created another file with the exact dimensions and inserted a scanned image of the back of the physical photo. I added the name and the date of birth of the applicant

Ultimately, I uploaded two image files, one for the front and one for the back.
