Urgent Help - Refusal Letter - Student Visa Pakistani national in Abu Dhabi

Dear All,

My name is Ahamd today i received refusal letter from CHC Abu Dhabi stating that;

You have not satisfied me that you would leave Canada at the end of your stay in reaching this decision; i considered several factors, including

1. Your travel history
2. Purpose of visit
3. Your personal assets and financial status [my paternal uncle is my sponsor he has well established business]

Kindly suggest what should I do?

I am working in Dubai, as a Administrator, I have Executive MBA degree and now i applied for Business Administration diploma Ontario.

The first problem you have is that taking a Business Administration diploma after an MBA makes absolutely no sense (course mismatch). Why would you take a diploma after completing an advance degree in the same subject area? This does not make sense from either an education or career standpoint.

If you want to apply again, you need to pick a course of study that makes sense given your past education and experience.

Thank you very much for your kind reply….

My whole experience is related to Administration and my Education also belongs to Business. After serving national and international organizations I have come to know that the people who has only Diploma [without graduation/post-graduation] from Abroad i.e. Canada, Australia, UK they are getting higher salary than me. This is the motivation factor for me to go abroad and have at least Diploma.
No i am planning to apply for Post graduate diploma which will match with my studies as well as my experience.
Kindly suggest me what should I do?

I have applied in ABU DHABI as well.
Ur documents need to be perfect.
I also think there is a study mismatch. Although u have ur own reasons, its not enuf to convince the visa officer. So try and pick some other course.
Regarding the financial issue, what all did u show?

And whats with the travel history?

Dont worry we can figure something out.

My CGPA is 3.33/4 in Executive MBA- Concentration Marketing and I applied for Canada visa on the basis of Post Secondary Diploma in Business Administration I believe that due to course mismatch I received rejection. VO said “if you wish to reapply, I would suggest that you do so only if your situation has changes substantively of you have significant new information to submit”

For new Information, I am trying to secure admission in Post Graduation Diploma (Business Human Resources Management) as I am working as Administrator in HR Department of Construction Company in Abu Dhabi.

My paternal uncle was my sponsor VO asked to show him any documents which demonstrate this relation. Secondly, I furnished my uncle declaration, Bank Statement, ID Copy and Bank Letter and VO required sources of Income, uncle has Gold Smith business in Pakistan.

VO wrote, there is no information about your own assets and financial status. Should I show him documents related to a Plot which is on my name in Pakistan? And my personnel bank Statement which has now only AED 15K before it was 25K.

Most importantly, Travel history? What should I show him; I visited Pakistan only once from September 2010 to December 2011 and before this I never went to any other country?

When you applied, after how may weeks you get this refusal.

I suggest you, re-apply but for higher program.

Hi, I am Farah, from Abu Dhabi, I did MBA in Marketing from Lahore. I applied via consultant in CDI College Toronto for Higher Secondary diploma in HR and I received Rejection from CHC Abu Dhabi stating that;

You have not satisfied me that you would leave Canada at the end of your stay in reaching this decision; I considered several factors, including;

• Purpose of visit
• You have not provided documents demonstrating the relationship between you and your sponsor.
• Your personal assets and financial status “my paternal uncle is my sponsor he is a goldsmith”

Now I made following changes please guide me is this enough for me or should I change more things.
• Now I am getting admission in PGD – HR in Humber College for September 2012 Session.
• Regarding my Travel history I visited Pakistan twice during my stay in UAE and I will mentioned this on excel sheet [its been 16 months in am in UAE].
• I will rewrite my SOP.
• Regarding Sponsor…. I applied for Bank loan here in UAE and hopefully I will get AED 60,000/- [RS. 1,500,000/-] and I have AED 30,000/- already in my account [Rs. 750,000/-]. Total AED 90,000/- and equivalent to Pakistani Rupees 2,100,000/- is this enough for one year post graduation diploma?
• There is a 10 Marla plot on my name net value Rs. 1,700,000/- attaching this documents as well.
• Does there any need to attached or mentioned uncle Bank statement or other supporting documents

I am from pakistan . I ve applied for January 2015 intake on oct 2014 and got refusal on november 18 2014 stated the reason of refusal

I reapplied for may session 2015 on 8th Jaunuary 2015 .Then i highlighted my purpose of visit is solely study and mentioned i have struggled alot for taking an admission . while on second reason i highlighted that my personal assets are all my parents assets that i gave them sponsership affidavit of my parents . and again got refusal on 30th March 2015 , now this time vo stated the reason only purpose of visit .

My Profile is

BBA with 2.79 CGPA completed in december 2013
IELTS 6 overall only listening 5,5
Finance 33,000 Can$ + half tuition fees with all supporting documents
Sponsered by Parents and brother living together in pakistan
No travel outside pakistan
Applied for Postgraduate 1 year Diploma program in Business administration from North Island College
Employment of 14K

Now i have applied for CAIPS notes and waiting for it but still i am unable to understand the meaning of "Purpose of visit" as i have been accepted from College and paid half tuition fees as well but the problem is where?

Can somebody help me that whether i would have to reapply or not ? or change my institute or program any sugesstions you people may have.

Sorry to hear about the refusal bro. I have also submitted my study permit application for May 2015 ( summer semester) on March 15, 2015 at VFS.

Regarding your inquiry related to purpose of visit, I guess, you have not explain to the VO regarding your purpose of visit to Canada like study plan that contains your intentions, prospects of employment in your home country after completion of studies in Canada, why you want to opt for that specific course, how this course help you in your future etc etc.

I am also wondering that the embassy took so long in reaching the final decision as you told that you submitted your application on Jan 08 and you got refusal letter on March 30, 2015. I am worried for myself because I have submitted my application on March 15 for summer semester.

Anyways, I would recommend you to take admission in proper Masters program in Canada and reapply for study permit. Make a good SOP ( statement of purpose) and submit it with your application package.Its a good decision that you have applied for CAIPS notes, you will get them in 4-5 weeks time. Consult these notes and reapply again. Address all the issues mention in these notes in your new application.

No i am currently working in pakistan and applied from pakistan and no family member outside. Can you please tell me about is that any problem to visa officer to go study for postgraduate diploma program after BBA (HONS). What do you suggest me to either change my college to university and change my diploma program to degree program ?

Rabs84: the processing time starts when the visa office receives your application. For example, if you submit your application on April 01 to VFS, your processing time starts from April 02.
