Hi All,

I had applied for FSW Immigration under NOC 0213, which is no longe on list now, I got rejected on 14th July and reason mentioned was my job duties.

Now I want to apply for Provincial Nomination but I don't know how to go with it.

I also read at CIC site about it but still I am blank.I need help of you guyz tp apply for Porv Nom and in this regard I have some questions.

i. Am I eligible to apply for provisional nomination.

My detail is:

Degree: M.Sc in Information Technology. (16 Year of Education)
Designation: Software Quality Assurance Engineer
Experience: 3 Years and 10 Months
Age: 30
IELT: L & S = 6.5, R & W = 6.0 (Taken on Dec 2009)

ii. How many marks did I get for Province Nomination?

iii. How many marks do I need to apply for provisional nomination?
iV. Can I apply for more than 1 provinces for nomination at a time?
v. Do I need to hire an agent?
vi. Which Province is best to apply ?
vi. From where I should start?

You need to qualify to apply under one of the provincial nominee programs. Usually, you need a job offer in that province. You can find all the provinces at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/provincial/apply-who.asp except Quebec which you can find at http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/en/index.html You don't need a job offer to apply in Quebec but you need to pass their points system.

You can apply for Quebec, but with your professional details you have described you need to speak some decent french, so you can get more points. My advice is to first do the preliminary test and then see if you are close you pass the minimum. I know a lot of people that apply for Quebec without any french word, but they state in the application they are intermediate level, after they apply they sign for a intensive french course, so by the time the Quebec interview comes they have some level. Just remember if you state a french level in your application make sure you reach this level by the interview (I know it seems hard, but its not impossible). This is just an option for you Good luck!

This is a chart and it shows the point you will eventually get depending on your area of training. You might not get any points, but as I said at least you can always get them through your language ability. As far as I know to get the maximum points for English (6) you need band 7 from IELTS, but I am not absolutely sure, so I will check it later

Normally what are the chances of getting provincial certificate ?
On what basis they issue provincial certificates and what document i need to submit in initial ?

I can talk only about Quebec, because I am not familiar with the regulations and procedures for the other provinces.
