URGENT HELP plssss

hey guys, i will really need your help. i applied for a replacement of a study permit in may 11th since i mistakenly destroy it. i was told by cic that the new copy was sent on june 20th but i didnt received it in the mail. they asked to wait for up to 6weeks to call back so they can resend it.the problem is i urgently need to travel in home country. if i go, i will have problem coming back in here since i dont have the new study permit. what do you guys think i can do to get a re print of my study permit?

i can only suggest but im not certain about it...you can go home but have someone here to wait for your permit and ask them if they can send it to your home country... but its still up to you..find someone you could trust...

You can re enter Canada by showing the acknowledgement of your request for replacement and valid study visa in your passport. A photocopy or soft copy of your older permit would be helpful if you have that. Also get a letter of attendance from your institute, just in case.

I got a reprint of my study permit somewhere inside Canada Place in Edmonton 4-5 years ago because the agent who printed it at the port of entry did a terrible job at it so the text wasn't properly aligned with the text fields and the Service Canada Centre office was refusing to issue me a SIN because of it. Not sure if they would do it for you since your case is different.

No appointment was necessary; it was a first-come, first-served counter. Just google Canada Place Edmonton; they have a bunch of government offices inside and I don't remember where exactly I was told to go.
