Hi Seniors,

My wife and I appeared for IELTS exams this month and got these scores.

Want to know if we made enough scores as per requirement for express entry and how much of score we will have for language proficiency.

My Score:

Listening = 6.0
Reading = 7.5
Writing = 7.0
Speaking = 8.0
Overall = 7

Wife's Score:

Listening = 5.5
Reading = 6.5
Writing = 6.5
Speaking = 7.5
Overall = 6.5

Appreciate if you can please suggest.

Thanks,

KAS

this is the official calculator u can check the points

First, convert the scores to CLB level:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/language/charts.asp
Then, use the CRS grid to calculate CRS points:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/express-entry/grid-crs.asp

For example:
Listening = 6 -- CLB level 7; CRS POINTS -- 16 because you have a spouse
Writing = 7 -- CLB level 9; CRS POINTS -- 29 because you have a spouse

Good luck!!

no draw in a month! nothing is "URGENT" anymore :-\
