I applied SP on Sep 4 for Jan 2022 intake in sault college and waiting for a decision. I informed my office that I will be resigning soon. Now there is a twist here, my company has offices in Canada and they are ready to transfer me to Canada. should I withdraw my sp application before they apply for a Work permit? Note: My office is ready to do it but they are checking the policies to confirm this transfer. Meanwhile what if I get a study permit and then my office confirms with the transfer too. I am confused now. Will it be a problem for my work permit to be processed by my office while I have an study application filed? Please help with my questions @wonderbly and the rest of the forum members.

Your office can ask for the transfer. Transfers are on possible for specific jobs - executives, senior management and technical knowledge (No Canadian can do the job). You can keep your SP under processing and see what happens. You can’t study in Canada while on a work permit, so you choose one or the other.

Thank you. What if i get my study permit and then if my office starts processing work visa. Should I cancel my study permit and then ask my office to apply for work visa ?

I agree, in my opinion study permit is the best option, since your work permit can be revoked by your employer and force you to come back. So I suggest you keep both of the running. Because you can ask your employer here to consider your resume when you graduate in Canada for the Canada offices! Study permit will give you more options than work permit since it might tie you to only one employer.

Bond?! What does it contain? If it tells that you will have job for sure for 2 years then dont do it. Because you might need more points if you are looking for PR. Study permit will give you huge advantage than this bonded contract. So be careful and way your options.
