URGENT HELP NEEDED

Hello everyone,

my friend here in Canada , studied one year and then got married to the boy. The guy later got an invitation and now waiting for PR. But things started to go south and the guy is now abusing and torturing my friend. Currently she is working in reputed IT company in noc B job. She wants to file a divorce and go back to India.
but just a thought what happens to the application? Can she do something getting her own PR?

Not yet. But she says it will the guys life.so she dont want to.

Most likely she will be removed from the application. If she wants PR, she will then need to qualify and apply on her own through a program like Express Entry or PNP.

How long does it take to file divorce?

They need to be separated for a year before she can file for divorce in Canada.
