Hii all. I wanted to ask if i have a canada study permit, then do i need a US transit visa if i have a layover in US. I hold a Indian passport. Thanks in advance

You do not need transit visa to any country that requires visa if you will still be within Airport. If you will be getting out of airport such as long layover that requires hotel booking, yes you do need a transit visa and most airlines do take care of it.

This is incorrect. You need a transit visa for US even if you're staying at the airport.
