Please help me with your suggestions about the following:
1) My work experience as a lecturer comprise of 10 years, out of which the first three were on two 6 months contracts and one 1 year contract. The last seven years were when my job became permanent and regularized.
Now the contracts always had a gap of weeks and sometimes even months before renewal (due to seasonal vacations of the university). How do I show the gaps? "Looking for emplyment" or "unemployed"
2) Or should I simply show all the 10 years (contract plus permanent) in one continuous chunk. My departmental chairman will of course be mentioning the eary period as contract based while next 7 years as permanent. I must mention that my job duties and working hours remained the same throughout.
3) Do I need to show payslips and job offer/contract renewal letters in addition to the reference letter from the chairman of the department? If so, I have the payslips for all of my permanent work experience except the very first month. Can that be a problem? Moreoever, i dont have any payslips for the contract based three years work.
As for job offer/appointment and renewal of contract letters are concerned, out of four such letters two have a spelling mistake in my name. My name is Omar Khan, whereas the letter says, "Umar Khan". That would be a problem, right?
