Urgent Help needed please!!

I am going to submit my application for my (spouse)form today which was returned to me coz of missing signature on Imm 5669 Background form few days back.
Although I have filled the new forms I was wondering if I need to write a letter to let them know what was wrong or do I just send them the letter which they wrote to me pointing the mistake??????which one makes more sense just to get through???
Who do I address in the letter????
Another important thing is that I am submitting my previous bank statement which is three months old now.Do they accept it or not I don’t have balance in my account as of now so can’t make new but I am submitting my letter of employment(full time work),tax returns for the last 3 years. Thank you all kind hearted people.

If you wish, you can write a short letter (to whom it may concern) explaining that your resubmitting your application after you corrected mistakes that caused your previous application to be returned.

It is not a requirement for spousal sponsorship to submit any bank statements so even if you submit your old statements it won’t cause your application to be returned.
