Urgent help needed please

Hi guys,

I received my invitation to apply on 5th April with a score of 481. I had entered certain work experience and due to not being able to get a letter from one of my employers, I have to delete part of my experience. My work ex therefore drops to below 3 years and my score should ideally drop to 456.

I clicked on the 'Continue Application' part and modified my work history accordingly. However, my score still shows as 481. I just did it 10 minutes ago so does it take time to update?

Please let me know what I should do! Don't want to be rejected because of misrepresentation.

Additionally, I also tried looking at my saved profile when I had made my express entry profile, and there I cannot modify anything as everything there says 'Transmitted'. But I read here that the profile can be modified, highly confused!

Dont worry, put those experiences in your personal history and explain this in letter of explanation. Dont worry about the score here. But make sure to recalculate your score, it should be above 67 in FSW grid and over minimum point of your round of invitation in CRS point calculation

Do you have a format for the letter of explanation?

Also, one more thing. If I decline my invite, does the EE profile get unlocked again? I'm thinking in order to avoid the hassle of a LOE, I can decline but only if I can make changes in my original EE profile then. My score will be 456, which I think will be more than enough for the next draw given the trend of previous draws.

I'm thinking in order to avoid the hassle of a LOE, this isn't a hassle, in fact you're encouraged to upload a LoE to explain any situation in your application - consider this as a medium to talk to the Visa Officer, put yourself in his/her position and answer any query/doubt that they may have when they look at your application.... I can decline but only if I can make changes in my original EE profile then. My score will be 456, which I think will be more than enough for the next draw given the trend of previous draws. that's the very reason to be wary BCZ the trend has been low, it's meant to rise instantaneously .... Even last year, May onward there was a spike in draws - i know bcz i had to wait until end of nov, had i filed in April, I would've been in in the first draw... Good Luck!

Open a WORD Doc , and start bullet points of anything u need to speak more about - PCC / Medicals / Work Ex/ Address proof/ Funds/ If you have a spouse, not accompanying - why etc etc..
There is no said format.

There's a placeholder for LoE besides all others.
