Would you mind elaborating it, please?
Does that mean we don't really need LMIA to claim those 50 points?
If our employer for whom we are working right now gives the surety of future employment, that letter can fulfill the need to claim those 50 points? Kindly acknowledge.

The details are critical.

It depends on what kind of work permit you are on. Are you on an open work permit like a PGWP or SOWP or IEC? Or are you on an LMIA-exempt closed work permit like an ICT which has your employer's name listed on the closed work permit?

Do you have a LMIA or on LMIA exemption (ICT, FTA)? Are you on a closed work permit? If on PGWP or SOWP, you need a LMIA to count the points.

You claimed the 50 points without any LMIA? Is that possible?

I am on PGWP expiring in April 2024.

Ohh, but my employer is not ready to give me an LMIA. Is there any solution? And yes i am on PGWP.

No points in that case. Your employer needs to obtain an approved LMIA if you want the 50 points.

Find a new / different employer who is willing to go through the LMIA process.

If you are on an open work permit like a PGWP, the 50 points are only possible if your employer gets an approved LMIA.

No, not without your employer obtaining an approved LMIA.

The fact you have a TRV valid until 2028 is completely irrelevant.
