Hi. I have got admission in concordia but i am bit cofused about study permit. I have two sponsors my father and my brother. My father is in australia on political asylum and he is working at gas station as a manager i have his affidavit of support and job letter etc and my brother is a US citizen working at bmw as internet sales manager. I have 20 lac in my parents joint account in PAk whereas my brother have 25k$ but i am confused that if i make my father as sponsry as he is on political asylum will that effect my visa chances??? I have 4 trips to US in past 5 years and also few trips to Europe and Uk.
Should i attach property evaluation with my file???

they are not your sponsor's (sponsor is a person that is the same country to which your travelling)
They are your financial supporters. Now coming to your question, the one who for the last 8 or more months had more money that can be shown in the bank statement should be your financier.

hope this answers your question.

You are absolutely wrong dude....

Sponsor or sponsorship may refer to a person or organization with some sort of responsibility for another person or organisation.

So, YES, OF course if your dad and brother are giving you money for your studies, THEY ARE YOUR SPONSORS... They are sponsoring you with money... Of course they are also your financial supporters.... But this guy khan12345 has no idea about what he is talking about..

As for your dad been in Australia for what ever reason... I don't think that should affect your application as long as you show money enough to pay for tuition and living expenses you should be good to go...

If i am going for studies abroad i am leaving my sister and mother alone in my country

Well maybe money is an issue for you m.. I would suggest to pay tuition in advance plus have at least maybe 15000 CAD in an account and say that money will be used for your living expenses plus letters from your sponsors saying they will pay for your expenses plus their bank statements and al properties they have...

As for showing ties to your home country a strong SOP would make a lot of sense..

I see a potential problem in that you say your father has funds in Pakistan, but he is a political asylum claimant in Australia. Does he have immediate access to these funds?

Where are you residing now?

Secondly, what do you mean by "Concordia is not letting me pay fees"?

Contact the Concordia international students' office and inquire how to pay fees in advance.

Why not cite your mother as financial supporter/sponsor given that she & the funds (which belong to her jointly) are in Pakistan, your home country?

You will need to demonstrate strongly your home ties, given that you have family members residing elsewhere than Pakistan, one of whom has claimed asylum...

Why not put your mother as primary support? She is, from what you have told us, your primary tie to Pakistan?

I made a quick check, & as far as I can see, the forms do not ask your father's status (in Australia), only his address.

Yes ur right in forms they just ask about address. How can i make my mother as a sponsry as she is not earning she dnt have any source of income she just have what ever my brother and father send her.
Do they verify bak statement of abroad?
What if i attach support letter from my father, mother and brother? As i am the only one who is left behind for higher education.

Your mother has money in the bank.

Yes, you will need to provide verifiable proof of this.
