Hello Seniors,

My moms name at birth and on her birth certificate is like this : xxx yyy zzz
where (xxx - first name, yyy - fathers name, zzz - last name)

After Marriage, her whole name got changed. her first name, middle name and the last name. this is what's there on the passport as well.

My question is, will this bother the visa officer as why my moms name at birth is different then whats there on my passport? Will he think that i had two moms or something like that?

Thanks guys!

I think , If your mom has a different name on the passport ... just continue with that name..

Forget about the previous names. (Dont included the previous name anywhere)

I hope you are filling this form you not for your mother. If thats the case then you need to fill her name which she has on her passport.
Is this name is same on her passport & your DOB certificate? if both documents have same name then you are fine.

Honey singh:

so should i just use her name after marriage? (but the form says to write at the time of birth)

I am filling this form just for me. Her passport has the name after marriage and even on my passport. (it matches)

i am so confused guys! :(

Seniors: Please Help!

You need to fill her Family name (surname) at birth only, so mention whatever she has before marriage. In the Given name field mention her first name whatever she has in her passport now. What's the problem here?

Her given name is like her first name along with the middle name. Is that ok?

You need to submit your DOB certificate which has your mother name mentioned. As you said earlier both your passport & DOB certificate has same name. So you are fine.
Even if your passport has diff mother name as your DOB, still you don't have any issue because you don't need to submit passport's last page which includes parents name.

Hello Experts,
I Have been going a stressful situation regarding mother's name at birth.
I got my COPR, and i will be landing very soon in Toronto.
My question regarding Mother's name ta birth.
Background :
Mother name in my Bangladeshi passport / Certificates / Birth certificate : Ruxana Aziz
My mother name in her ID card/ Passport: Ruxana Ferdous poli.
During PR process, in schedule A, i mentioned my mother name at birth as per her passport.

Now, i can feel that, onward, in everywhere, ( SIN, Canadian passport) , i will be asked to put my mother's name at birth. Then it will be different name in my two passport.

In BD passport : Ruxana Aziz
In Canadian PR Card/ Sin/ Passport : Ruxana Ferdous Poli

Please help somebody, who had gone thru with this situation
