Hi All,

I wanted to check how can we take experience letter with roles and responsibilities. I have a experience in contract job but the company does not issue a letter with roles and responsibilities. It sent me details around "The Worknumber" website and mentioned that it uses that for employment verification.

I am not sure how to handle this case. Can anyone please advise what could be the best option for me in such a case?

I can try and see if I can find a person with the same company and see if they can sign the letter. If I go this route, is there a standard format in which I should get the letter signed by colleague and then get it notarized? Also is there any other way - may be i can attach the letter which company sent telling that they use work number for verification.

I am looking for the best option which could help me satisfy the employment letter criteria.

Regards,
Sachin.

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Ask a colleague to write a letter following IRCC's guidelines - no need to notarize anything, simply provide proof that they work at such company.

I will try that but the problem is i really don't know anyone who could write a letter. I am going to give it a shot though to find someone if I can. I know one guy but i think he left the organization some time back. Don't know any other person working in the company.

Is there any other alternative in such a case when we are not able to get the letter from the company or get it signed from a colleague?

Self-declared duties/responsibilities but I seriously do not recommend this approach.

Sure Thanks for sharing your feedback - I actually have received the ITA and while submitting the application did not include my latest contract employment details. My previous employer details should be enough to get me the employment points.

So in this case is it ok if i don't include the latest contract employment experience at all in the final application?

On a separate note - For my spouse, I want to get the experience letters. She had got an experience letter around 5 years back from one of her collegues when she left the organization. Can we use that old letter of do we need to get a fresh letter?

Hi All,

Can anyone please advise on the above thing? If we try to get a letter from one of our friends working on the company, is there any standard format of that letter which we need to get notarized? Also I assume we can get this letter notarized from any bank in US correct?

Any help in clarifying these things would be really helpful. We have got the ITA so need to work on this as soon as possible.
