*****Urgent**** Urgent**
I urgently need some feedback as to how to go about with this.. ANy help is much appreciated.
My niece came to Quebec with her port of entry along as common law sponsorship. They got her no problem, however her b/f had to go back to Ireland due to his commitment in a course that he is enrolled in and the course finished end of this year. She is pregnant for 7months. She applied for her Health Card the next day she landed meaning Feb 21, at the time she landed .. because he was leaving in 2 weeks they told him to apply when he returns (makes sense), because she is that pregnant she has not been able to go out there looking for a job .. yesterday she went to speak with the Regie regarding her health card, because they've asked that the friend she is staying with in Quebec attest some document that she is staying there. She questioned them what will happen if she does not want to sign it (because she does not want to signed the paper) ... they said she will have to wait, when she told them she is pregnant.. they immediately changed their tone and started telling her that she came to use the system.. her b/f not here, she does not have a job and she is staying with friend .. they seem to think its a scheme .. poor woman now is under a lot of stress ... they are requesting so many proof from her. . does this affect her Permanent residencE? Help

In the other post, you said your niece applied her PR independently. This would not affect her Permanent residence anyway. If you want to make sure, you can always call the CIC toll free number :D

Thank you for the reply, very much appreciated.

Actually she never mentioned her b/f was accompanying her (probably for personal reason) as he was returning back to Ireland. I only found out about it a day before their arrival. That's why i was under the assumption that if she is coming here here independently.

Thanks, I will have her call CIC to be clear on this.
