I did my under graduation in engineering with 24 backlogs (in India) but I changed my field to design and I finished my masters of digital design with first class (Merit) in the United Kingdom without any backlogs. Moreover, I have work experience as a digital design intern for 8 months in UK.
Now, I got admitted in the University Canada West for my second masters of MBA.
As I have changed my field from engineering to design, will my engineering backlogs affect the visa file?
How should I explain my previous backlogs in SOP?
Just by clearing that I was never interested in engineering and so that I changed my field to design where I have not any backlogs, is it sufficient to convince the visa officer?

Radhika
