I am filling in the background declaration form and in the section 9, there is a question: been refused refugee status or visitor or temporary resident visa to Canada or any other country? Answer options are yes or no.

I filled in yes because:
I lived in Australia as a refugee status and I applied visitor visas to NewZeeland and US. Both got rejected.

Now I have to explain why it is a yes. So I filled in the next information in details:

I went to Australia on study visa. But due to some unavoidable circumstances.. I couldn't not complete my studies. After that as suggested by some of my friends and a lawyer. I applied for Refugee. But later on when I realised that I am doing only for stay. I took my case back and I returned to India. I have no criminal record in Australia. I have attached Police Clearence Certificate from Australian Police Department. I have applied tourist visa to NewZeeland & USA, while staying in Australia but both was rejected.

I would like to know if this is enough information or should I profide more details on this. Like, dates ect. But the thing is that I dont have any documents, the only thing I do have is the refugee stamp on passport and application received for tourist visa.

Respected seniors and others..
any advise will be highly appriciated.

If I were you, I would put all the dates of the visa refusal. Also, give reasons why the other visas were rejected. If you are honest with immigration officers, you have a good chance of being issued a canadian PR visa. Don't hide anything from them at all. Even your own conscience will be clear if you hide nothing from them. Your failed assylum or refused USA and New zealand visas have nothing to do with your canadian PR if they are not rejected based on criminal reasons so go ahead and be honest with your application. Good luck to you.

I share the above views in it's entirety. Good piece of advise. I'll do the same, if I were in those shoes.
