I didnt apply online , it was paper based application , and i have saved a copy for me.. just reviewed there is nothing but as i told my TRV form dont have point no. 8 it is up to Govt positions, thats the case perhaps and my police certificate expired yesterday .... just a hard luck and may be they want its validity until u get visa stamped !! khair,... wish me luck , gona apply for POLICE certif tomm...

welll just to let you know a police certificate becomes valid for one year once it is submitted to the embassy, anyways as far as the trv is concerned you should do that

Actually, my police certificate was issued on 18 March and No Where is there anything written about validity. The "3 months criteria" can be read on this link: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/intro.asp
which statest that:

"The certificate must have been issued no more than three months before you submit your application."

So, they might want to ensure that ur police certificate is valid when they issue visa (which is more important in YOUR case as it is clearly written on ur certificate that its valid for 3 months only)

Furthermore regarding travel history, You must also fill and print and sign this form as it is clearly demanded by CHC Isbd. Reference:

Please fill above too, I think, along with other's suggestions regarding TRV.

Thanks for sharing your problem, I am gonna get latest Police certificate too again In case they ask of me later after medical (which they should not because there is nothing written about 3 month validity on my certificate and also that I submitted my police certificate about 2 weeks before 3 month expiry of my issuance of police certificate) --- Just to be extra Safe.

In shaa Allah, your problem will be resolved and You will get visa.

I heard from other mates, they got their clearance certificates with a validity of 06 months. Anyways, i have replied CHC with an updated certificate.... Thanks to Mr. TS for his valuable guidance
