I have done my bachelors of engineering in Computer Science and passed out in 2009. I have work experience from March 2010- November 2012 as a Search Engine Optimizer/ Web Analyst at 3 different concerns.
I have got accepted at the University of Northern British Columbia for Master of Science MCPS (Computer Science) for Jan 2013 with supervisor as Dr.Waqar Haque. Dr.Haque research interests comprises of business intelligence and e-commerce.
My job description is that of a web analyst. I would be required to analyze statistical data of websites via various tools like Google analytics and present my reviews and suggestion for them. Search Engine Optimization is one of the areas under E-commerce.
In addition to this my final year project also was based on e-commerce and web analytics. Using Java and Mysql my project was to find beneficial customers for an organization using two different algorithms and calculate their efficiency. Dr. Haque has shortlisted me after reviewing my project, education and work experience.
Recently I got rejection from Canadian Embassy stating reason has
"your proposed studies are not reasonable in light of one or more of your qualifications, previous studies, employment, level of establishment, language abilities, or your future prospects and plans"
Coming to Language abilities my IELTS score is 7.5 and for future plans I had mentioned in my Sop that I will be returning back to India after my studies.
Now what can I do and write in my SOP and covering letter to make my case stronger. Also how to rectify the other issues mentioned in the refusal letter.
