URGENT HELP - BOWP Renewal

Hi Guys. I have applied for my PR under CEC on Feb 2013. Now my WP is expiring on June 22-2014 and my IND PP is also expiring same date.

Here is the Dilemma: If I go to renew my IND PP they will ask for my WP which is expiring same date. Vice Versa if apply for my BOWP they ask for my PP copy.
Will CIC Renew and Issue me BOWP ?

I applied on Feb 18th 2013. AOR Recd: April 4 2013.
PS: I have applied for my Visa notes and almost 30 days haven't heard anything back yet.

So if I understand correctly the Indian embassy/consulate won't renew your passport because your work permit is expiring? Are you sure about that? You're an Indian national and they shouldn't require you to have valid immigration status in Canada beyond validity of your passport.

@ This is user, As far as I know they will ask for Valid Status in Canada for sure. If you're not PR they wont renew your PP for more than 1-2 years. My passport expired last year and they renewed for 1 yr which is validity of my WP.

CIC will not give you a BOWP that has a longer duration than the validity of your passport.

@ Scylla - Currently I have 3 years Post graduate WP. MY understanding is if I have applied for my PR should they give me 1 yr BOWP.
The way I see now is without PP I cant get BOWP & CIC will not renew OR issue me BOWP without my PP renewed.

So what now...Do i go back india untill my PR is finalized... ? Isnt there anyway at all ?

I was in a similar situation two years ago. Indian consulate will keep your original work permit when you apply to renew your pp. So first renew your passport and then apply bowp

@ This is user, As far as I know they will ask for Valid Status in Canada for sure. If you're not PR they wont renew your PP for more than 1-2 years. My passport expired last year and they renewed for 1 yr which is validity of my WP.

Then that's fine. Just renew passport for 1-2 years and then renew WP. Do it all as quickly as possible though given you are close.
