URGENT HELP::Applied for PGWP, LOSING CURRENT STATUS AS STUDENT

Hai I'am Prathyu citizen of India,currently residing in Canada on visitor visa. I came to Canada to visit my husband who is full-time international student when i came here. He had completed his master's in july 2016 and applied for PGWP along with my SOWP on August 27th 2016.

Our current visa status(my visitor status and my husband study permit) going to expire by the end of this month i.e.,30th September 2016.Since the current processing times for work permit application shows as 40 days on CIC website..By the time we hear any response from CIC we both loose our current status. So what we have to do after loosing our status?

Do we have to extend our current visas first, as it going to expire soon by the end of this month?
Do we need to drop any application for Implied status or it comes automatically?
what are the chances of staying in Canada if we both got our visa refusal?
what is Restoration of Status? when do we have to apply for it? Before our current visa expires or after getting refusal from CIC?

Please do reply for my queries...we are totally confused by the process and looking for great help..

I'm not sure about your status; but if your husband has already applied for a PGWP he is allowed to work in Canada until he receives his PGWP + the duration of the PGWP.

visa u dont need to extend unless u plan to leave Canada

u have already applied for extension/change of stay right? what form did you fill?

there is a difference between visa and work permit/visitors permit. Visa once entered into Canada is not required until u decide to leave/permit expires. ur permit(work or visitors or study) lets you stay in Canada legally. So check ur permit expiration date. U must have visitors permit and ur husband study permit which will change to PGWP once approved. So in case of ur husband he has no issues.

what is Restoration of Status? when do we have to apply for it? Before our current visa expires or after getting refusal from CIC?
u dont need restoration of status unless ur permit application is rejected

In either case as long as ur applications r not rejected u r fine.

hai Mead sorry for the miss communication that i have used word 'visa' for the permits.....

I mean to say about study/vistor/work permits. yes we have applied for "change conditions to stay in Canada as worker"IMM5710 application.

my husband study permit and my visitor permit going to expire by 30th September 2016.
Do we need to extend our current study/visitor permit, before it expires?
what are the options do we have if our work permits got refused?
Is there any application to apply for Implied status or we will automatically fall under this status, if we apply for new permits before our current permits expiry date?
can my husband continue to work even after his study permit expires and waiting for PGWP?

hiee please clarify me one thing Do i need to extend my visitor status as it going to expire by the end of this month?

i have applied for SOWP along with my husband PGWP, i've attached his job offer letter in NOC B with my application...

As he didn't get his PGWP yet,llegally im not eligible for SOWP untill he gets his work permit right? so as i going to loose my current visitor status before getting my work permit do i need to extend my visitor status????

please let me know ASAP...if i have to do that i don't have much time so please give me reply...
