Hi Seniors,
I have been issued a new passport as my old one expired.
Meanwhile I am still awaiting my MR.

Visa office has been shifted from NDVO to CVO.

Please suggest me what shall be done in this case !
Shall I wait for the MR and then inform the CIO ?
OR shall I pro-actively send them my passport information ?

I had the same thing with my sons passport. I am also awaiting MR. Once I received the new passport back I sent a CSE to the visa office. I received a reply from the visa officer to say that they do not need that information yet and will ask for it when they want it. Personally I think it's best to inform them, so that you cannot be accused of misrepresentation. On the other hand, you don't want to annoy them with lots of CSEs.

Raise a CSE to colombo visa office saying that you have renewed your pp and what should be the action from your side.. Its better to kept them informed as in Medical forms your passport no. Is also mentioned. If you inform them now you might get new pp details in the medical forms. They might or might not ask you to send the copies of new pp..

Happens the same with me.
I had to renew my passport before receive MR. I just had to show my new passport during my medical exam and the CIC contact me after that asking for the copy of biographical page of new passport.

Don't worry just use your new passport during Medical Exams and CIC will identify that you had to renew your passport.

Many Thanks for all the suggestions !!

Now here is the second part :
My wife is in her 7th month of pregnancy...

What should I do now ?
As the MR when it comes needs to be partially done , assuming the passport update doen't create any issue... how do I go about with that ?

Once more thanks a lot in advance for all the suggestions !!
