Hello all,
I know there are several threads on this topic but i'm still quite confused. I'm applying for a study permit after being accepted by Carleton University. Its a two year course with an annual tuition fee of 17,688 CAD (the university actually only gave me a range for my tuition 14k-17k so I opted to put the upper value). Accommodation isnt finalized yet but is campus accommodation and is likely to be roughly 8000 CAD per year.
Now for "funds available for my stay", is this figure an annual figure or for the entire duration of the course? I'm being sponsored by my parents and they currently have roughly 47000 CAD available in the account. Which is more than enough for the first year but not the second as well (funds for the second year will be ready by the end of the second year). I'm not sure what figure would be reasonable to put here because all the visa site says as requirements is "Tuition plus $10,000 for a 12-month period (or $833 per month)".
I'd like to get this application right the first time to avoid delays and this is the thing that worries me the most.
