Urgent expert advise for Super visa extension in canada....

Dear friends.

Its me Rizwan. My parents got the supervisa from Pakistan in 2018 and at that time their passport was valid till February 2022 so that got a 4 year visa instead of getting a 10 year visa. Now the situation is if they go to Canada if the government resumes the entry for the visitors in January 2021 so will their visa be extended to 10 years in Canada ?

The situation is that My brother in law who applied their visa in 2018 is not working now so he is saying that he cannot responser for their visa extention now.

So Would their be any way to get their visa extended or a fresh 10 year visa directly from Canada?

The visa was issued for the duration of the passport provided. It won’t change with a new passport. If they plan on travelling again after 2022, they will need to apply for a new visa.

No - their visa will not be extended.

They will need to apply for a new super visa once theirs expire in 2022.

At the time they apply, their sponsor in Canada must meet LICO. If they have no one in Canada who qualifies to sponsor them, they will need to apply for a regular TRV rather than a super visa.
