Hello, i need an urgent query answered by the senior members of this forum. I have been in canada since 2009 and graduated in October from york university. Was working in a noc category c customer service job for bell canada after getting a 3 year post grad work permit, that expires in September 2017. This week on Monday i started my new job in a business to business sales consultancy role for rogers with an annual salary plus commission and benefits and i have been hired as a full time employee.
As our role is reaching out to and dealing with small to medium sized businesses throughout Canada for a new loyalty based computer software, it almost fits very closely to
(6221) Technical sales specialists - wholesale trade

My company is willing to write me the specific employment letter required for my Permanent residency application.
Can i apply immediately for express entry as the points are low in the last few draws and after giving ielts, my relatives in canada, my previous degree in pakistan i can get more than 400 points.

Or do i have to wait for one whole year under this job i just started to apply in experience class of express entry?

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
to apply in canadian experience class you need one year's work experience in Canada in a Noc 0, A or B role. Your noc C job is not eligible.

point is, unless you have a years experience in your noc b job, you're not eligible for CEC

You can apply for Express Entry but problem is that it will not fetch you any points for your previous experience as your NOC falls under C category.
As your present job is under NOC B and you have less than 1yr experience, you might qualify only for FSW stream in EE. You will not require ECA as you have Canadian degree and you will have to score at least 6 in all modules of IELTS. But challenge here is funds. You will have to show funds depending on number of people in your family.

After gaining 1yr experience you will qualify for CEC. The advantage again here is Canadian degree of course and you need 5 in each module of IELTS as your job in NOC B. And there is no need to show funds.
Basically, you may create a profile in EE right away and wait till the scores fall. If your score is around 420, you may get the invite this yr itself(I am guessing) and you have the advantage of employer who supports you application with all the documentation needed.

Perfect, i wish to try my luck under fsw category, my english skills have been very good throughout my life and i will be aiming for max points i can achieve in ielts. I have a few questions if you would be kind enough.

- How long does it take for ielts exam results to come if i pay the fees within a week and book an exam?
- I am living alone, only my mom's sister has a passport and can i get points through her?
- If from my immediate family i am the only one here, how much funds will i have to show?
- I have a 2 year associate degree earlier from Pakistan as well, to claim points for that, what documentation do i have to arrange?
- And what details will my employer need to give in the letter?

Thanks alot :)

One of my friend booked last week online and he got the exam date on May 30th in Vancouver. May vary from city to city. You may want to check this - http://www.ielts.org/test_takers_information.aspx

I don't think so.

As you are single, you need $11,931.
Check this link - http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp
Remember, arranged employment means job supported with LMIA.

I am guessing you can claim only for your PG in Canada. Not sure you can claim for the degree in Pakistan. Some body else should comment on this.

You need reference letter with business card, Letter of employment and offer letter. You can work on this, once you get ITA
