So when do you expect them to correct this issue, instead sending us an auto generated emails to the concerns raised by us lol

:D I am as clueless as you are. But that seems to be the most logical reason as of now !

We missed out NOI yesterdays because of their mistake, they need to keep that in mind too

Unless the cutoff of draw was wrong (say 482 instead of 481). Publishing wrong tie break date wouldn't impact OINP NOI

Hi all, I am currently in a situation where I haven't received ITA even after having the qualifying score and meeting the tie breaker rule.
I have a CRS score of 525 and I submitted my application on January 13th 2024. Below is the stats on latest general draw.

CRS score of lowest-ranked candidate invited: 525
Tie-breaking rule: March 12, 2024 at 15:56:42 UTC

Can anyone help.

If the score is lowest crs cutoff, then always this happens because when there are more candidates with the lowest crs cutoff score, invitation will be issued only for those in the sequence from earliest profile submission until they reach the no. of ITA count, others will not receive invitation even if their score is 525 and before March 12

Thank You, but I have a doubt, then what is that they intent by showing March 12, 2024 at 15:56:42 UTC as the tie breaking rule.

It’s bit tricky to understand. From 526 - all candidates who submitted their profile on or before tie breaking date will be given invitation. Only for the candidates with lowest crs cutoff 525 - it is until they reach the no of invitations they want to issue. Say for example they sent invitation for 1000 candidates in that particular draw- 900 was covered for 526 and above with tie breaking and all. For the remaining 100 candidates - if there 500 candidates sitting at 525 with the submission date on or before March 12. Then whoever submitted earlier (100) will be given Invitation. The remaining 400 will not be given invitation even if they are 525 and within tie breaking date.

The remaining 400 will not be given invitation even if they are 525 and within tie breaking date - any official source for this calculation/statement ? Why would IRCC say that tie break is March 12, 2024 at 15:56:42 UTC and not issue invitations to all who clear the tie breaking rule ?

As per your statement, IRCC should put tie break at 100th candidate with score of 525 and not at 500th, isnt it.

There is no official statement anywhere and at the same time they cannot put the tie breaking as per the lowest cut off as this tie breaking is satisfied and applied for all from 526 and above . i also faced this situation in Dec 2023 stem draw and it is very hard truth to accept I know but no other option , even if you send an enquiry form I don’t think you will an answer how this tie breaking works - I tried and got a generic answer - u can also try if you want . But this is what I know

I see this as tie break rule -

STEM occupations (2023-1)

Number of invitations issued:
5,900

Rank required to be invited to apply: 5,900 or above

Date and time of round: December 08, 2023 at 03:02:52 UTC

CRS score of lowest-ranked candidate invited: 481

Tie-breaking rule: September 07, 2023 at 09:24:49 UTC

Yes it was happened on Dec 08 - I had score of 481 and submission date sep 27 with the correct noc and did not receive ita

So seems you did not fall in tie break rule which was Sep 07th. That explains why you did not receive ITA

When the draw happened the tie breaking was mentioned as nov 25th and it looks like later they updated. I have the screenshot also but not sure how to share that here.
