When/where did you get married? If you got married in the US, I was under the impression that she can adjust status in the US even if she was undocumented.
In theory, non-Americans married to a US Citizen would be eligible for a green card. However, someone can be denied a green card just the same as they can be denied for Canadian PR status. With the current Administration running (read: ruining) the US, I'd say it's not that easy. If anything, the moment she goes to apply for a green card, they would likely arrest her and likely deport her.
