Urgent: couldn't link my application to IRCC portal

After I submitted my application online in September 2021, I received first communication yesterday, asking me to submit my wife's police certificate. And instructed me to upload through IRCC account:

"Please only submit the requested information and documents via one of the following method:
1. For instant updates, submit your documents via IRCC secure account at:
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/account.html"

However, I couldn't link my PR application to my IRCC account. Any idea what could be wrong? Thanks.

just main applicant can connect to GCKey account,
My wife sent a webform about it to IRCC, and IRCC replied this:
" Only the principal applicant’s portion of an In-Canada Protected Persons and Convention Refugees permanent residence application can be linked to an online account. Since you are a dependent on this application, you will not have the option to link your application to an online account."

You can send all requested documents in 1 and more webforms to IRCC.
