Urgent Clarification on NOC Code (4163 or 0121)

Dear Members,
I have been working as a Business Development - Dy. Manager with a reputed Real Estate Company in India with more than 3 years of experience. My duties include the promotion and expansion of our business (commercial and residential properties), setting up of marketing plans with sales teams, setting up of promotional events, managing sales activities, locating potential business deals etc. I have applied for Express Entry under NOC Code 4163 and also got a PT notification under the same code from Ontario. However, the duties mentioned under NOC code 4163 relates much close to my work profile but the heading under 0121 mentions Real Estate Service Managers, can someone guide what shall be the correct NOC as I do not want to give any kind of mis representation.

Your NOC code is independant of your job designation.
NOC Code depends on the matching of your job duties with the job duties of one particular NOC code.

If your duties match up by atleast 60 to 70% with the job duties of the NOC Code 4163, then that is your intended NOC Code for Canada.
Job designation does not matter.

Thanks Sushsmart...as I mentioned in my earlier post my job duties matches NOC code 4163..so that means applying under the same shall be fine.

Sales and sales management is closely related to 4163. I think the only difference is that 4163 has non sales roles too, like tourismm development manager or stuffs like that. So, from a practical point of view, consider the one that favours you most. For example SINP has 4163 on their list but dont have any other sales management NOC. So, if you were going to apply to SINP, there is nothing that should stop you from applying under 4163.
